History
This jersey is the one worn by the French generation during the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
After a difficult start to the tournament, Les Bleus achieved an exceptional run: a victory against Spain in the round of 16, eliminating Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, and Kaká's Brazil in the quarterfinals, then a win against Portugal in the semifinals.
Led by Zinédine Zidane, as well as Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Franck Ribéry, Claude Makélélé, and Lilian Thuram, France reached the final against Italy.
The tournament ended with the famous July 9, 2006 final, lost on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
